THE VILLAGE

The Sun Village is located on the hills of Low Monferrato Astigiano Region and measures 35.000 squared meters. An old farm built in 1908 -(now being restored)- lies on the top of the hill, surrounded by a hazel-nutyard, a big wood, a biological garden and fields all around. The village is Assonatura's main branch, the third national naturist association for number of memberships. The Sun Village is a private property where some people live sharing the project of creating an ecological naturist village where living is sustainable, slow, natural and happy. We are politically and religion free, we do not accept any hierarchic institutions, which we consider as source of false values, while encourage people grow responsible, free and spiritual, following their natural, inner values. You can spend a relaxing, regenerating day from us, or come for a weekend, or plan a longer holiday. You can relax by the swimming pool, having intense experiences trying one of our massages or holistic treatments, including naked yoga, or take part to other leisure activities such as body painting. Olga will be pleased to welcome you at her B&B "Raggio di sole", either you will find a campsite for tents, campers and caravans. Food is available by the near typical restaurant (home-made meals), from mini bar and mini shop (regional products). Animation is offered by the members of naturist association for social promotion AssoNatura. Free member card includes: civil responsibility Insurance against thirds, that is obligatory in Italy. The services offered from the association are reserved to the members and to their family, in conformity with the 383/2000 law.

Davide and Olga, together with other three people, members of Assonatura Association created the Sun Village in November 2002. The old farm had been abandoned for 20 years, and since they bought it -in 1999- they started works to restore the house and clean the land around. Since we bought the house some people, which we remind with pleasure, have spent some time with us, each of them giving a little help to create the Sun Village.

We have been living here for 11 years and, even If I feel we came yesterday, everything has changed: of course today it is better! At present Olga, Davide and Valentina live here, but some other people (Giancarlo, Francesca and Marina) help us in different ways. You can come to spend some time with us, if you wish. We are waiting for you !

B&B "RAGGIO di SOLE"

Our B&B is part of the farmhouse. The rooms have been restored keeping original structure and furniture. We can say that they look like the beginning of '900. The farmhouse was the residence of poor farmers who built the house using building materials they found in their land like cooked bricks, row bricks, stones and wood. This farmhouse is an interesting example of rural architecture of that period.

In 2012 we open from March the 7th until November the 1^st and from December 2nd to Dicember 31st

Services:

Breakfast is served under the gazebo in the big threshing floor or in the big farmhouse kitchen. You will taste delicious homemade nut and fruit cakes.

Third bed 15,00 euro
Third bed for children till 13 years old 10,00 euro
(The AssoNatura members save 5 euros per night for a double room)

CAMPING
Is located in the south-western side of the hill and is provided with 27 shadowed campsites for tents among the wood, 5 sites for campers/caravans and 1 bungalow. Camping services are offered by voluntary members of Assonatura Association.

- Children over 13 years pay adult fees
- tourists and members sleeping in b&b/camping don't pay the entrance.
