The Villaggio del sole was built only using environmental-friend materials, minimal and mostly temporary structures, recycling for low environmental impact. Inside the Village of the sun there are a Bed & Breakfast, a temporary mobile campsite equipped with mobile structures for the overnight stay of the members of the Association, such as caravans and wooden mobile homes with wheels (wooden caravans), the swimming pool, the 5-seater outdoor jacuzzi, a flower garden, terraces and stairways, natural gardens, manicured lawns and paths in the woods, where you can walk or sunbathe, a toilet block with hot showers and toilets, barbecue, a self-service bar, sun loungers sun and sea mats, board games, a library, several massage rooms, the houses of the residents, a large parking lot, a 1000 watt voice system with lights and lasers for parties. All the structures have zero environmental impact and allow you to live in close contact with nature all the experiences you can have here; such as massages, treatments and cultural activities of various kinds, which await you for a stay of pure relaxation and real fun. You can sunbathe, walk, practice naked yoga, stay in the pool or whirlpool … that’s your choice!
Facilities
Outdoor swimming pool
The pool is 11.5m long, 5m wide and 1.35m deep. It is open every day from 11 am to 7 pm and remains closed on Monday for weekly maintenance. It is located in a panoramic position on the tip of the hill, where the view can range 360 °.
Patio: services and activities area
Under the main patio, on the top of the hill, the following self-service facilities are available: soft drinks / water, ice cream, coffee and tea, microwave, sink, gas barbecue, small kitchen, library. Group activities, such as disco and brunch are held in the activity area.
Massage rooms
There are several massage rooms under the porch of the farmhouse and in the old cellar. They have wooden floors and brick walls -as it used to be in the past and are fully equipped with futons, massage beds, essential oils, candles and massage oil. There are also wood stoves and a wood-burning fireplace, which create a warm setting in winter. While they are pleasantly cool in summer.
Group room
A large hall for activities such as yoga, meditation, courses and group activities in general, of 50 square meters, which you can also rent to hold your courses, at any time of the year.
Outdoor Jacuzzi
A large 5-seater hydromassage located on the panoramic terrace, near the swimming pool area, will allow you a relaxing time into the water while enjoying the panorama of the hills and the forest around. Either you can lie peacefully on relaxing beds, in the breezing shade or in the sun.
Bed & Breakfast
The B&B consists of two bedrooms each one equipped with a double bed and services. One of the two bedrooms has a third single bed, for a total of 5 beds. The rooms are, as required by law, inside the house of the residents and breakfast is provided as self-service in the room during the winter and as self-service, under the patio, outdoors, in the summer. The B&B rooms were restored keeping the setting of the rural building. The B&B is managed by Olga Morozova, in accordance with the Piedmontese Regional Law on B & Bs n. 20 of 13 March 2000, supplementing the Law of 31 April 1985. Soaps, towels, sheets, pillow cases, cleaning and breakfast are included.
Temporary Mobile Camping “Retrò Camping”
The campsite is open only during the summer. The temporary mobile campsite of the Association consists of 27 pitches with grass in the shade for tents, caravans, campers and bungalows on wheels; there are toilets with showers, toilets, bidets, washbasins. The Temporary Mobile Camping service is offered to members of AssoNatura, in compliance with the annual membership, pursuant to the derogation provided by the Piedmont regional law n. 54 of 1979 “Discipline of outdoor accommodation complexes” art. 16 (exceptions and exclusions), paragraph 2. The camping facilities are all temporary, without foundations on the ground, and can be dismantled and reassembled at the start and end of the service, without any impact on the territory. The Camping is active, in the expected terms, during the summer, between June and August. For AssoNatura members, camping overnight is free, with the purchase of the Naturist Heliotherapy daily ticket.
Hammock park
The hammock park is located in the small park of oaks, elms and pines on the north-west ridge of the hill; a cool and breezy place in the shade of old trees. A very special place … where meditating becomes almost sleep… where the rocking becomes lull yourself… where staying becomes absolute relax …
Children’s play area
Baby Club is located in a special space near to the swimming pool, on the north side ridge of the hill, behind the reception house. A coloured wooden house for inside games and a swing, a slide, a rocking chair and a sandpit to play outdoors … A space where children can always play under the careful control of their parents.
Car parking and changing room
Big car park in the farmhouse courtyard for daily Naturist Heliotherapy service. Parking spaces inside the camping are also available, if you are staying in the camping. Ask for more info at the Reception desk at your arrival. A changing room to leave your clothes and put yourself naked before entering is available near the car park.
Naked trekking
Several paths running through the three and half hectares of the villaggio, going up and down the hill, passing through pine forests, woods, hazel groves and fields … to go for a relaxing walk or trekking, at your choice.
